Foundations of Strength Clinic
July 6-August 15
This clinic is designed to introduce you methods and techniques of sports performance training. In this clinic you will learn basic lifting techniques, proper movement skills, movement awareness, conditioning for sport, and recovery enhancement techniques. This is a great way for beginners or more advanced individuals to improve technique and performance.
This clinic will be led by Cody Cook who is an experience personal trainer who has a certification in Sport Performance Enhancement from NASM. He has experience working at the Mayo Clinic, Canton City Schools Swim Team, Malone University, and the College of Wooster. At each of these stops he worked with various team on improving in the weight room and on the playing field
This clinic is for any aged 12-18 who plays sports and wants to take their performance to the next level. Each week there are two 1 hour sessions either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. There will two different groups based on age 12-14 and 15-18. We will limit each group to six people to try and maintain social distancing. If there is a need to add more groups we will add them as necessary.
12-14 Group Offerings: M/W 4:00pm-5:00pm or T/TH 4:00pm-5:00pm
15-18 Group Offerings: M/W 5:15-6:15 or T/TH 5:15-6:15
